The mission of the Banana Slug String Band is to network with like-minded organizations whose goal it is to work for a healthy environment through education. It will take us all working together to make sure our children inherit a livable environment because, as the title song of the new CD says, "We all live downstream, someone else is living up from us. We all live downstream, someone else is further down." For 23 years, the award-winning Banana Slug String Band (BSSB) has been educating, entertaining and performing for family and school audiences.
